The Digital Inclusion Alliance Wales (DIAW) is a multi-sector group of organisations, bringing together people from across the public, private, third, academic and policy sectors in Wales, to coordinate and promote digital inclusion activity across Wales under one national banner. The group is committed to taking joint action to significantly shift the digital inclusion agenda in Wales.

Being a member of the Alliance represents an opportunity to participate in and shape the delivery of an innovative initiative that inspires digital inclusion action and works to ensure that everyone in Wales has the opportunity to engage with digital services and the digital world.
The Network and the Steering Group
The Alliance is made up of a Network and a Steering Group. The Network and the Steering Group work alongside each other under one banner, utilising each other’s strengths, in order to create a movement which is focused on both the end user and the higher-level strategy.
We hold quarterly meetings for the DIAW Network and Steering Group which give the opportunity to share information, make new contacts from across Wales, engage with each other and feedback on the current focus of DIAW action and future decisions.
The DIAW Network is open to all organisations working on digital inclusion in Wales.
Steering Group members lead the Alliance to ensure Wales becomes an exemplar in digital inclusion.
The DIAW officially launched on October 15th 2020. The resources from the event are available below. Since the launch, we have increased our membership and are looking ahead to the impact we can have on the digital inclusion agenda in Wales. To outline our priority areas, the Alliance published ‘Inclusion to Resilience’ in March 2021, setting out its 5 priority areas.
